Roy Rogers Digs In to Gibson ES-137
Legendary Slide Guitarist Roy Rogers digging on the Gibson ES-137 during a break from recording his new album at Studio D in Sausalito, Calif., on Monday, Dec, 1. Roy loved adding the Memphis guitar to his sound for the new project. Roy's last CD was with Ray Manzarek of the Doors. He has recorded with John Lee Hooker, Keith Richards and Bonnie Raitt to name a few and USA Today says, "Pundits who bemoan the scarcity of guitar gods haven't laid ears on Roy Rogers, whose slide riffs could peel a crawfish."
