I wish to express my great sadness at the loss of my dear friend Norton Buffalo to all fans and friends.

Norton fought the brave fight against cancer with amazing grace, never losing his great sense of humor - - this in spite of his grave health condition.  He was not only a friend, but a true brother in music and life.  He can not be replaced. He and I traveled and performed around the world for many years and I am grateful that I knew him.  I believe that his musical legacy will increase in the future years, but more importantly, people will realize how great a human being he was, as well as a great musician.

Gaynell and I send our love and affection out to Lisa, Norton's wonderful wife, and all of his family in this sad time.    RR
