Blue Revue Cover Story on Roy Rogers

Good News!  Blind Pig recording artist Roy Rogers is featured on the cover of the Dec/Jan issue of Blues Revue magazine. The magazine will be mailed to subscribers on October 21st, and will be on the nation's newsstands in early November.   Article is entitled "Slide Show"  How Roy Rogers Is Keeping An American Music Tradition Vital." 

The multi Grammy-nominated slide guitarist has appeared recently on national radio broadcasts ("House of Blues Radio Hour" and "West Coast Live"), and his latest studio album, Split Decision, has been acclaimed in USA Today, Billboard, Guitar Player & Pollstar as well as on National Public Radio and over three hundred radio stations across the country.  The release continues to get rave reviews and is recently on the Grammy list for entries for 2010 in 'Contemporary Blues Recording of the Year' among other catagories.

In late October Roy and Gaynell Rogers take a rare holiday in to Mississippi to enjoy the Delta in the Fall and attend the Southern Foodways Alliance Symposium at The University of Mississippi in Oxford.
